I want to provide you with a photo experience that you have never had before. I live for capturing beautiful memories between my clients, and illustrating your story in the most elegant way possible.

Your session is completely customized to you, with the goal of capturing captivating images that you and your family will swoon over for years to come. I make a point to be laid back in our time together, because stuffy “say cheese to the camera” images just aren’t my style. I would much rather spend time talking, getting to know one another, and capturing the candid smiles, laughter, and beautiful moments along the way.

I prefer to hold sessions at golden hour, and you’ll see why if you take a look at the galleries below. The gentle glow of sunset gives an air of magic to your session, no matter what we’re celebrating together!

I love to create stunning images that capture the true personalities of my beautiful clients. I love capturing genuine moments — it sounds cliché, but that is what I live for.

When you schedule a session with me, I learn all about you: who you are, what you love, your visions for the session, and what you plan to do with your photos. Otherwise, I can’t expect myself to effectively capture images that tell your story. We work together each step of the way to ensure that you get the photos of your dreams. Love to the Moon Photography is my independent business based in the Hillsboro, Missouri area, but I serve the entire St. Louis, Missouri area! And I’m more than willing to travel just about anywhere for the opportunity to tell your story.

In addition to being a photographer, I love being a mom, planning parties, being a chauffeur to our three kids with their busy schedules, and a mama to our two fur babies. As a family, we enjoy serving our community through volunteering, spending time outside at our pond or pool together, and getting out to explore new places.

If there is one thing most people know about me in general, but especially about me as a photographer, it is that I like to not only have lots of options in things I do but offer lots of options!! I have been absolutely been loving working with all the expecting mommies that have recently been coming my way. It is an amazing feeling knowing that 9 times out of 10, I will get the chance to meet their new babies and follow them through all their childhood milestones, capturing all those little firsts for these new families.

A lot of time, and energy goes into planning my sessions. Based in Hillsboro, Missouri, I am all about using the diverse natural landscapes for my shoots. Whether you desire a tranquil maternity session by a lake, a photoshoot amidst lush woods, a picturesque backdrop of rolling hills and valleys, or a dramatic riverside setting, rest assured that I’m your go-to photographer!

Do you provide birthing pictures?

The first few days of your baby’s life go by incredibly quickly – as does their actual birth. It’s a whirlwind of emotions, and the experience of becoming a parent is more than worth documenting.

That’s why I have birth and fresh 48 sessions available – to document those fleeting first moments. Whether you’re in the hospital, having a home birth, or something in between, I’ll be on call to join you and capture the first imperfectly perfect moments of your growing family.

How long do sessions take?

My services include untimed photography sessions (apart from holiday minis) that prioritize your comfort and enjoyment. I offer a variety of sessions such as couples photography, family photography, newborn photography, and maternity sessions. The maternity shoots can range from modest to boudoir style in both studio and outdoor settings. All sessions can be customized to suit your preferences, whether you choose to show more skin or opt for attire like a lace gown. I’m dedicated to providing options and bringing your vision to life. Feel free to reach out so we can tailor your dream session. I am confident you’ll love the experience and the results!

What Should We Wear?

When you book a session with me, we’ll communicate extensively to ensure I can perfectly capture your story. You’ll also gain access to my extensive collection of stylish designer gowns, and other wardrobe items. I source many of my wardrobe pieces from boutiques such as Reclamation, that create beautiful and unique gowns, providing you with numerous choices. I also have an extensive wardrobe planning process for every session. I will literally style you from head to toe if given the opportunity. I take the guess work and stress out of the entire process by guiding you each and every step of the way before, during, and after your session. You can also pick from a variety of stunning outdoor locations for your session, or opt for an in studio or in home session for a more intimate setting. While your ideas for location and wardrobe are welcome, I’m happy to guide you on the best locations and clothing choices for optimal results. With my guidance we’re sure to provide you with most flattering clothing, and the ideal timing to achieve that sought-after golden glow.
